Personality
Cunning and intelligent, Elise has an excellent memory and a fast response time under pressure. She rarely ever smiles, much less laughs, but at times her own sarcastic sense of humor comes out. She's rather emotionally unstable, and while normally she seems stoic she can have extreme outbursts when disappointed or angered. She's incredibly lonely, and when by herself rather melancholy and even a bit sentimental. She clings to objects and clothing associated with teenage girlhood to cope with losing that period of her life.
Biography:
Elise's mother died in childbirth, leaving her to be raised by her single father. For as long as she can remember her father was always very distant, and very rarely ever showed her affection or noticeable love. He was very often gone, and from a young age she was very independent because of this.
When Elise was 10 years old, her father sat her down to talk, and revealed to her what he did for a job. He ran a syndicate of criminal circles that committed all manner of acts from drug selling to assassination - and he had just been diagnosed with a terminal illness. As such, he wanted Elise to take over the syndicate when he died.
Desperate to make her father proud, Elise went through vicious training to learn how to follow in her father's footsteps. She sacrificed her childhood and school life, saw all manner of deaths and tortures, learned how to use weapons, learned economics - she became the perfect criminal's daughter. And yet, as her father passed away when she was 17, she swore he never looked at her fondly once as more than a tool.
Ever since then Elise has lived a secluded life as leader of the syndicate, killing and manipulating when she needs to. Despite her place, she often dresses in very "innocent" and flowing clothing, almost as a way to compensate for the childhood she feels she lost. She may look pretty, but those who work under her fear her ability to get what she wants by any means necessary.
